This shot was taken somewhat on the fly but still within the thought of shooting the couple within a formal setting. Use of subjects naturalness & gesture is always an important emphasis

for me. 

Bar mitzvah, Cleveland Ohio, winter 08

 Cleveland Zoo's Rain Forest was the host of a Bar mitzvah this past winter. 

The rain forest is a most interesting if not innocuous venue location to host

this traditional coming of age ceremony.  Again I decided to use a higher ISO with the flash off, to capture a more  natural look and feel as the moments unfolded.

I am at times willing to forgo the "correct lightening" technique & drop the flash & crank the ISO to capture a more natural look. As digital cameras improved so has the ISO range which is an incredible factor in how wedding photography has advanced into the realm of the artistic.
